    Before Beginning

    Member portal tile organization is essential for creating a user-friendly experience by making navigation intuitive and efficient. Clear labeling, visual appeal, and customization ensure that members can easily access the features they need. Organizing tiles by category enhances usability and engagement.

    Set Up Member Dashboard

    Default Member Dashboard Screen Functionality
    1. Click here to set up the Member Screen Access to Member Portal Dashboard Settings
    2. Section Divider  Separate member portal sections by adding section dividers, and titles.
    3. Tile Image Icon

    Update the default icon for the tile.

    Note: jpg, or png files only. Image ratio for tiles must be exact square.

    4. Tile Title

    		 Update title on tile.

    Member Tile Field Functionality

    1. Section Divider

    		Short summary of the member portal. Include 'placeholder' tokens for member specificity. Utilize toolbar to customize section header verbiage, and appearance.
    2. Section Divider Title Organize member portal by adding section divider with or without section titles.
    3. Family Access to add or edit family members.
    4. Change Password Ability to change own password and email address.
    5. Subscriptions Subscribe/Unsubscribe from ShulCloud's built in mailing lists.
    6. View Directory Access to view member directory.
    7. Edit Directory Access to edit own member directory listing.
    8. Class Lists (School Module Only) Class list visibility.
    9. Statement View View current or previous financial statements. 
    10. Bidding Access to Bidding (Gabbai).
    11. Yahrzeits Access to view, add, or edit yahrzeits.
    12. Kibbud View past and upcoming honors
    13. Event View past and upcoming event registrations.
    14. Addresses View and edit addresses for the household.
    15. Pay My Bill Access to the online payment and donation page for the shul.
    16. Payment Methods View saved payment methods or add a new payment method for the account.
    17. Transaction View list of transactions on the account.
    18. Recurring Payments View recurring payments on the account.
    19. Start School Enrollment (School Module Only) Access to school enrollment for religious school directly from the Start School Enrollment tile.
    20. Enrollments Access to other Enrollment options.

     

    Customize Tile Options

    Tile Area Functionality
    1. Button Text The text displayed on the tile.
    2. Button Hover Text The display text when cursor is hovering over tile.
    3. Tile Location

    Determine location of tile:

    • on (visible as a tile in the Member Portal)
    • only accessible from navigation (My Account must be available in the Main Navigation)
    • off (tile is not visible)
    4. Section Title  Add section titles for more organization.
    5. ✔ Done Button After making changes, select 'Done' to save. 
    6. Section Description Toolbar Utilize the toolbar editor to customize the verbiage, and appearance of the member portal.
    7. Button Icon (Browse Server)

    Add an exact square image for tile icon.

    Note: jpg, or png files only. Image ratio for tiles must be exact square.
    8. Hide After Date (leave blank if setting does not apply) Utilize if tile needs to be shown/hidden during a specific time range.
    9. Only Visible to: One of These Account Types Visibility of tile based on one specific account type. Select account type for members from dropdown that should be able to view/access the tile.
    10. Or One of these tags Specify visibility of the tile based on a specific tag.
