Explore the different types of CMS (Content Management System) pages in ShulCloud. Learn how to create and edit standard webpages, blogs, and redirects. Discover how each can be used to organize and present information on a ShulCloud site.
To access CMS Pages, navigate to:
- Website/Media
- Pages
- New Page
Create New Page

Description |

| 1. Internal Name |
Name visible only to admins via CMS Pages dashboard. |
| 2. Title |
Name of CMS Page | Blog | or Redirect |
| 3. URL |
NOTE: If left blank, the system will automatically create a URL based on the page title. |
| 4. Header Slider |
Add Image/banner slider. Refer to How to Create Sliders. |
| 5. Page Visible To |
Determine page visibility page once page has been published. |
| 6. Admin Tags |
Grants editing ability to non-CMS users with matching tags (e.g., “Board Members”). |
| 7. Sidebar |
2. When adding a new page, determine which type of sidebar to use:
NOTE: Sidebar options are not available for all website templates. Availability depends on the selected design, settings of the site are set to show sidebar in Edit Settings. Refer to: Choose a Website Template. |

NOTE: Draft/Unpublished pages are highlighted in pink. |

Will add a new draft or published page. Based upon Publish settings. |
Page Type Options
| Page Types Options | Description |

1. Normal |
A Standard webpage managed through ShulCloud’s CMS Pages dashboard. Text, images, and other design content can be added or edited. |
| 2. Blog/News |
CMS page that displays blog posts in chronological order, with the newest content first. Legacy mail can also convert into blog posts. b. Blog/News: Add New Blog. Posts listed chronologically. |

3. Redirect (301 Perm) or Redirect (302 Temp) |
d. Redirect (301 - Perm) or Redirect (302 Temp): Sends users to another URL either permanently (Redirect 301) or temporarily (Redirect 302). Both redirects function the same. e. Redirect URL (must start with https://): A redirect automatically send visitors from one ShulCloud page to a specified web address, ensuring the correct page is reached even when an outdated or alternate link is accessed. |
