Introduction
A rich text editor, available in ShulCloud outside of MailBuilder, is an interface or input field for text editing, that includes styling options like bold, italic, bullet points, font typefaces, and text size. You can also embed images, hyperlinks, and other rich text media.
This article details what each icon does. Due to the number of functions, it is broken into four pieces, labeled below.

| 1. Undo (Ctrl+Z) | Undo the last action taken. |
| 2. Redo (Ctrl+Y) | Redo the last action taken. |
| 3. Clear Format (Ctrl+Shift+R) | Clear all formatting changes made. |
| 4. Formats | Formatting the title. |
| 5. Font Name | Fonts available. |
| 6. Font Size | The size of the font used. |
| Fields | Description |
| 1. Bold (Ctrl+B) | Makes the selected text thicker and darker. |
| 2. Italic (Ctrl+I) | Slants the selected text to the right. |
| 3. Underline (Ctrl+U) | Draws a line beneath the selected text. |
| 4. Strikethrough (Ctrl+Shift+S) | Draws a line through the middle of the selected text. |
| 5. Subscript (Ctrl+=) | Lowers the selected text slightly below the baseline. |
| 6. Superscript (Ctrl+Shift+=) | Raises the selected text slightly above the baseline. |
| 7. Font color | Changes the color of the selected text. |
| 8. Background Color | Alters the background color behind the selected text. |
| 9. Upper Case (Ctrl+Shift+U) | Converts the selected text to all uppercase letters. |
| 10. Lower Case (Ctrl+Shift+L) | Converts the selected text to all lowercase letters. |

| 1. Insert Link (Ctrl+K) | Allows the user to create a hyperlink from the selected text or object. |
| 2. Create Table (Ctrl+Shift+E) | Enables the user to insert a table into the document. |
| 3. Insert Image (Ctrl+Shift+I) | Lets the user add an image to the document. |
| 4. Insert Video | Allows the user to embed a video within the document. |
| 5. Insert Audio | Enables the user to add an audio clip to the document. |

| 1. Alignments | Refers to how text or objects are positioned horizontally in the editing area. |
| 2. Numbered List (Ctrl+Shift+O) | Creates a list where each item is preceded by a number or letter. |
| 3. Bulleted List (Ctrl+Alt+O) | Generates a list where each item is preceded by a bullet point. |
| 4. Decrease Indent | Moves the selected text or list item closer to the left margin. |
| 5. Increase Indent | Moves the selected text or list item further away from the left margin. |
| 6. Left to right | Sets the text direction to left-to-right. |
| 7. Right to left | Sets the text direction to right-to-left. |
| 8. Print | Opens the print dialog, allowing the user to print the selected area. |
| 9. Code View | Switches the document to a view the underlying HTML. |
