ShulCloud uses Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) to send emails. This service makes email delivery reliable and lets ShulCloud track important information like how many emails are sent, opened, or clicked. There is no extra cost, and all synagogues sending bulk emails must use it.
Set Up Options
There are two ways to set up SES:
-
ShulCloud provides special records, and the synagogue adds them to its DNS Settings.
-
The synagogue provides DNS login information. ShulCloud then updates the settings for the organization.
NOTE: For more information, please review: Amazon SES FAQs.
What to Know After Setup
-
Verified email addresses will show Amazon SES Verified: TRUE.
-
Once SES is verified, all synagogue email addresses will work automatically.
-
Email addresses not linked to the synagogue (“one-off” addresses) need to be verified separately.
-
To verify a new one-off email address, send a request to questions@shulcloud.com.
