ShulCloud offers a variety of built in widgets that can be embedded throughout a website. Widgets can be moved to different sections on the website, but cannot be edited directly, as they are generated from automated feeds.
It is recommended to place only the widget in its own section on a webpage, without adding extra content to that section. This way, when the widget section is edited or deleted, no other webpage content will be affected.
Add a Widget
- On the desired page where the widget should appear, add or edit a section and select Insert Widget in the Rich Text Editor toolbar. To learn more about the toolbar functionality, review: Rich Text Editor RTE (Reference).
- Once the widget is added, save the section before navigating away.
- Refresh the page in the browser to see the new widget by selecting the circular arrow next to the URL.
Delete a Widget
- On the page where the widget appears, select Start Editing.
- Locate the widget, and select Delete.
