New Email Verification Step for Online Form Submissions
ShulCloud has introduced an important update to online forms to better protect client information and ensure a smooth user experience.
Why This Change?
Automated bots and malicious scripts have become increasingly sophisticated — capable of mimicking real users and attempting fake transactions and form submissions. These attacks can disrupt payments, cause errors, or even put personal data at risk.
To stay ahead of these threats, ShulCloud has introduced a new email-based verification step for anyone who isn’t logged into their account. This added layer of security helps ensure that every payment comes from a real person — not a bot or automated system — protecting both your information and the integrity of our payment platform.
What to Expect When Submitting a Form (While Not Logged In)
If you’re not signed in when you submit a form:
Complete the form and click Submit.
You’ll be taken to a verification screen.
A 6-digit verification code will be sent to the email address you entered on the form.
Enter the code and click Verify Code.
-
Once verified, your form will submit as usual.
If your form includes a payment, you’ll be directed to the payment screen next.
