The account screen is very handy when trying to create custom reports based on Account information. There are so many options to choose from that you can really customize the report to your liking. The first thing you will see if the Account type and the quick find. The account type drop down will allow you to select which account types you want to filter by. The quick find allows you to select one specific account and takes you directly inside the account you select.
There are also many other filters that you can choose from by clicking on the Show Advanced link all the way to the right.
Once you click on the Show Advanced link you will see the following:
Each individual section will have options that you can choose from to narrow down your recipient list. You will need to use different filters depending on the recipient list you need. Once you have selected all of your filters you can then decide what kind of information you need to be displayed. To do this you will need to use the Outputs section shown below.
The outputs section allows you to customize the report that get generated by selecting the field you want displayed from each individual drop down. Depending on which section you are in, you will find a number of options to select from. For example: The Address info will give you all the Address information on each account. If you only need to see the zip code, then click on the drop down and select only the zip code.
The primary and secondary fields have all of the person information. So if you want to generate a report with the primary first name, birthday, last name, cell number or any other information, this is the field you will find it in. The same information will be displayed on the Secondary drop down.
Once you have all of the information selected you can then update your filter and see the results. You will only see the data you requested from the Output section.
