Introduction
Admins have the option to filter transactions with different parameters via the transaction log located on the account Transactions tab.
Key Features
Transaction Log Options | Descriptions |
1.Transactions Tab | The Transaction Tab in an account is where administrators can add, view, and edit an account's charges and payments. |
2. Dates | Admins can search by a specific date range or select 'All Dates' to capture all transactions. By default, the transaction tab at the account level displays up to five years of financial data, only. |
3. All Dates | To view transactions outside the default date range, check the 'All Dates' box. This will show all transactions on the account both in the past and in the future, if there are any. |
4. Add Transaction | Allows transactions to be added directly onto an account. |
5. Show Advanced Filters | By pressing 'Show Advanced,' additional filtering options for transactions at the account level are revealed. Show Advanced Filters: All Transactions (Reference) |
6. Clear Filter | Clears selected filters. |
7 Print This View | Print or Save PDF document. |
8. Export This View | Export a CSV file. |
9. Filter | Select 'Filter' to display transactions based on the chosen date range, all dates checkbox, or other filtering criteria specified under 'Show Advanced Filter' options. |

Transaction Log Options | Descriptions |
1. Date | Displays transaction date. |
2. ID | Displays transaction ID. ID starting with P is for Payment and ID starting with C is for Charge. |
3. Type | Displays payment type. |
4. Notes | Detail about a charge or payment that will display on a statement, invoice, or receipt. |
5. Charge | Amount billed to an account. |
6. Payment |
Amount paid.

7. Status Balance | Snapshot of the account’s financial state, reflecting all transactions up to that moment. |
8. Running Balance | A running balance is the continuously updated total amount in an account, calculated after each transaction. |
9. Edit | Select to edit the transaction. |
10. + Icon | When pressed, more information becomes available for the specific transaction. |
Transaction Log Options | Descriptions |
1. Account Totals | The sum of all transactions on the account. |
2. All Time Charges | Every charge ever entered into the account. |
3. All Time Payments | Every payment ever applied to charges or prepayments on the account |
4. Current Balance | A live display of the account balance up to that date. |
5. Future Balance | Displays if there are future, charges or recurring payments on the account. |
6. Total Balance | Refers to the lifetime balance on the account. |
7. Filter Totals |
Full amount of money in an account at a specific time. |
8. Charges | Total charges on the account. |
9. Payments | Total payments or prepayments on the account. |
10. Balance | The amount of money due on the account. |
