ShulStats Demographics Report (Reference)

The ShulStats Demographic Report allows you to view and interpret specific demographic data from your ShulCloud Account. It includes visualizations designed by ShulCloud product experts to highlight the most important demographic data in one place, and allows you to export filtered lists into Excel.

You cannot manually change the report within ShulStats. The report is based on the data as it currently exists in your ShulCloud account. If a number or visual seems off, please double-check your data in ShulCloud. Data is refreshed every day at 4am Eastern Time, so the data shown in ShulStats will be from the previous day. Any updates you make in ShulCloud will be displayed in ShulStats the following day. 

To access the full ShulStats feature, ensure that your congregation has has a subscription for ShulStats. In order to view ShulStats, an admin must have specific ShulStats and view and/or edit administrator permissions. 

Main Page

Visual	Description
1. Accounts	Lists the number of accounts in your system that fit the specified filters. If there are no filters selected, it is the total number of accounts in your system.
2. People	Lists the number of people in your system that fit the specified filters. If there are no filters selected, it is the total number of people in your system.
3. Account Type Filter	Allows you to filter the visuals on the current page by Account Type.
4. Person Type Filter	Allows you to filter the visuals on the current page by Person Type.
5. Age Groups Filter	Allows you to filter the visuals on the current page based on age groups. You can select as many age groups as you want. To see a breakdown by single ages, click the "Go to Full Demographic Report" or "Go to Filtered Report" buttons.
6. Tags Filter	Allows you to filter the visuals on the current page by tags. When you click the dropdown, you can use the search bar to find specific tags.
7. Active Tags Filter	Allows you to filter the tags visual on the current page by whether or not the tags are active.
8. Active Acct Filter	Allows you to filter the visuals on the current page by active or inactive status.
9. Deceased Filter	Allows you to filter the visuals on the current page based on whether or not people are marked as deceased in your system.
10. Go to Full Demographic Report Button	Click for a detailed report of every person in your system. See below for an overview of the Demographic Report Details.
11. Account Types	Provides a visual of the number of accounts of every type in your system. Click on a bar to filter the other visuals on the page by that account type.
12. Go to Filtered Report Button	After you click on a bar in a visual, you can click the link to see a detailed report of every person within that category. See below for an overview of the Filtered Report Details.
13. People by Age	Provides a visual of the ages of every person in your system, in 10-year increments. If an age is blank, the person does not have a birthday listed in your system. Click on a bar to filter the other visuals on the page by a specific age range. The bars are divided by member category. To see a breakdown by single ages, click the "Go to Full Demographic Report" or "Go to Filtered Report" buttons.
14. Gender	Provides a visual of the gender listed for every person in your system. Click on a bar to filter the other visuals on the page by that gender type.
15. Tags	Provides a visual of the tags listed for every person in your system. Click on a bar to filter the other visuals on the page by that tag. Tags are highlighted in different colors by active and inactive.

Full Demographic Report Details

When you click the blue Go to Full Demographic Report button, you will see the following page. If the report isn't showing the correct details, make sure that all your filters are clear by clicking the eraser in the right corner of the filter boxes.

Visual	Description
1. Accounts	Lists the number of accounts in your system that fit the specified filters. If there are no filters selected, it is the total number of accounts in your system.
2. People	Lists the number of people in your system that fit the specified filters. If there are no filters selected, it is the total number of people in your system.
3. Account Type Filter	Allows you to filter the visuals on the current page by Account Type.
4. Person Type Filter	Allows you to filter the visuals on the current page by Person Type.
5. Age Filter	Allows you to filter the visuals on the current page based on a single age. You can select as many ages as you want.
6. Gender Filter	Allows you to filter the visuals on the current page based on gender.
7. Tags Filter	Allows you to filter the visuals on the current page by tags. When you click the dropdown, you can use the search bar to find specific tags.
8. Active Acct Filter	Allows you to filter the visuals on the current page by active or inactive status.
9. Deceased Filter	Allows you to filter the visuals on the current page based on whether or not people are marked as deceased in your system.
10. Report Details	A report that changes based on the filters you can select. You can export the report to Excel by following these instructions. The report includes: Member ID - when you click on the ID, it will take you to the corresponding person page in your ShulCloud site Name, gender, age/birthday, and contact information for the people that fit within your selected filter criteria Account ID - when you click on the ID, it will take you to the corresponding account page in your ShulCloud site Account Primary name and contact information (This is particularly useful when the a person does not have contact information. For example, when you need to contact parents of children of a specific age.) Account Secondary name and contact information
11. Back Arrow	Click on the button to return to the main report page.

Filtered Report Details

When you click the blue Go to Filtered Report link at the bottom of a visual, you will see the following page. This page is similar to the Full Demographics Report, but is filtered based on your selection within the visuals on the main page. If you do not want the report to be filtered by that criteria, click the back arrow to return to the main page.

Visual	Description

2. People	Lists the number of people in your system that fit the specified filters that you selected on the main page.
3. Account Type List	Lists all the Account Types included in the filtered list. You can click on a category to filter the list further. Use the shift key to select more than one category.
4. Person Type List	Lists all the Person Types included in the filtered list. You can click on a category to filter the list further. Use the shift key to select more than one category.
5. Age List	Lists all the people ages included in the filtered list. You can click on an age to filter the list further. Use the shift key to select more than one age.
6. Gender List	Lists all the genders included in the filtered list. You can click on a gender to filter the list further. Use the shift key to select more than one gender.
7. Tags list	Lists all the people tags included in the filtered list. You can click on a tag to filter the list further. Use the shift key to select more than one tag.
8. Active Acct List	Lists active and inactive status in the filtered list. You can click on a category to filter the list further. Use the shift key to select more than one category.
9. Deceased List	Lists whether or not people are marked as deceased in your system. You can click on a category to filter the list further.
