- Navigate to Communications > Legacy Mail.
- Select Create New Mail.
- On Step 1 select Forms and choose a Form under the Which Form dropdown. This dropdown populates from draft and live forms under Admin > Forms.
- Select your grouping
- Only 1 mail per person allows you to:
- Email registered or unregistered people. However it will NOT send an email to anyone who has publicly filled out the form, even though they will appear in the recipient list.
- Compare recipients to another form usage
- 1 mail per submission allows you to:
- Send an email to public submissions or skip them
- Change recipient mode
- Only 1 mail per person allows you to:
- If selecting only 1 mail per person, go to step 2 in creating the new mailing to determine Recipients.
- Within Step 2: Recipients, determine who will receive the mailing.
- Choose from Registered or Not Registered for the form. This will pull everyone in the database who has not registered, whether they are a member or not.
- Choose from Registered or Not Registered for the form. This will pull everyone in the database who has not registered, whether they are a member or not.
- To further specify the recipient list, select Advanced Targeting. Here, determine if someone is a Member AND has Registered to the Form, or Non Member and did Not Register to the form.
- There is also an option within Advanced Targeting to select Other Form Submission Status options and to add/remove those accounts to/from the recipient list.
- Within Step 2: Recipients, determine who will receive the mailing.
- If 1 mail per submission was selected, select Continue to step 2: Choose Recipients.
- Choose recipient mode and if public submissions will be skipped.
- On step 2, add everyone who registered under Basic by selecting Registered.

Advanced Targeting can also be used along with who registered.
IMPORTANT: The not registered option in this screen does not work. If you need to send to those who did not register, go back to step one and choose Only 1 mail per person.
- Choose recipient mode and if public submissions will be skipped.
- After the recipient list is determined, continue through the prompts to complete drafting and ultimately sending the email.
