Introduction
A Gateway facilitates the transfer of financial information, such as payment details, to the payment processor. Once the payment details are conveyed, the payment processor takes over by handling the actual transaction. This process involves transferring the specified funds from the congregant's account into your organization's bank account. The Gateway ensures the payment data is delivered safely and efficiently, while the processor completes the financial transaction, ensuring a smooth transfer of funds.
Audience
Gateways are primarily used by accounting and financial teams, but should also be accessible to the executive team.
