Anyone using our payment processor are charged with fees. Some congregations choose to pass along these fees to their members and donors to cover their cost. Online payment fee options provide flexibility and control by allowing shuls and organizations to manage transaction costs, customize payment processes, and adapt charge type gateway fee overrides for specific needs, ultimately enhancing financial efficiency.
Before You Begin
After the merchant application has been completed and reviewed, it will be added to your ShulCloud Website. To access your new gateway click on Admin Menu>My Lists>Gateways. Review Online Payment Fee Options (Reference)

1. Fee Option Dropdown |
Allows users to choose from the fee options. See Online Payment Fee Options (Reference) |
2. Fee Threshold | Allows admins to choose whether to apply the fee when payment amount is above or below the certain threshold amount. |
3. Percentage | Allows the admins to enter a percentage for the fee. |
4. Flat Fee | Allows admins to enter in a flat fee. |
5. Charge Type For Fee | Select specific charge type to use for the fee. |
6. E-Check is always Free | Select Yes or No for 'ECheck is always free'. |
7.Which Fee Should Be Used | Select the fee option - reference Online Payment Fee Options (Reference) |
8.Allow Payments Via Amex Cards | Select Yes or No to allow Amex cards |
9. Save | Always remember to scroll down and click 'Save' button |
