Turn Emails into Blog Posts (How To)

Congregational emails sent through Legacy Mail can instantly become part of a dynamic blog feed on any ShulCloud website. 

How to maximize this feature:

• Convert the rabbi’s weekly message into a blog without duplicate entry.

• Build a chronological, searchable archive of emails accessible to members and staff.

Prepare the Blog for Posting

Step 1: Ensure a blog feed is available to post the email to. Refer to Blogging in ShulCloud. 
Step 2: Add a Blog Feed to Navigation: Refer to Navigation Menus. 

Add Email to Blog Feed	Description
1. Legacy Mail	Navigate to Step 3 of Legacy Mail.
2. Select Email Type	Rich Text: Legacy Mail: Email - Rich Text (How To) MailBuilder: Creating Emails with the MailBuilder
3 - 4. Post Message to Blog	Post Message to Blog: select which blog feed to post the email to.

Note: The default setting in the dropdown menu is Don’t Post. The desired blog must be selected each time an email should appear in the blog.
