With ShulCloud's MailBuilder, you can add a link in your email that will send readers directly to a specific blog post.
Step 1: Set up your email
First, create a new email. In Step 3 (Options), specify which blog you want to use.
Now continue to Step 4 (Add Message) to launch the Mail Builder, select a template, and choose a theme.
Step 2: Add a permalink
There are two ways to add a permalink:
Method 1: Select and drag a "button" block
Enter the Display Text (the text that will link to the blog), then change your link type on the right to "Token" and select either {{permalink}} or {{permalink_logged_in}} to add a login link directly to the blog post.
Method 2: When editing a content block select the link icon
Enter the Display Text or the text that will link to the blog, then change the link type to token and select select either {{permalink}} or {{permalink_logged_in}} to add a login link directly to the blog post.
When you send your email, a blog post will be created as normal, and the permalink will take the email recipient directly to the post instead of the blog.
