The Directory is a signature feature in the Mobile Member App. Settings for the directory take place in the web version of ShulCloud, under Admin > Settings > Edit Settings > Member Directory. There are no additional settings in the Mobile Member App v2.0 for the directory other than to add it as a feature.
Before You Begin
If the member directory is off, or is not available to any account types in the Settings area of ShulCloud, it will not be available in the Mobile Member App.

Key Directory Features
Key features of the Directory in the Mobile Member App are:
- No additional configuration of directory outside of already existing settings.
- Person-based, where the web version is Account-based.
- Ability to communicate with other members with a few taps
- If an account or person is sharing their phone number, a user may click on the phone number and be presented with an option to call or message the number.
- If an account or person is sharing their email address, a user my click on the email address and a new email will open in the mobile device's preferred email server.

First and last name of each person along with the person type assigned in the account. |

Phone number associated with person. |

Email associated with person. |
| 7. Family Members |
Other people on the account with the person selected will be shown. Clicking on the person will bring up their directory listing. |
Contact a Person in the Directory

1. Call Phone Number |
Click to call the phone number listed in the Directory. User will be redirected to the phone function in their mobile device. |
| 2. Message Phone Number | Click to text the phone number listed in the Directory. User will be redirected to messages in their mobile device. |
| 3. Cancel |
Return to the person listing in the Directory. |
| Email option (not shown) |
If a person has an email address listed in the directory, the option to email the contact will be available. By clicking on the email address, the user will be directed to their preferred email server in their mobile device with the recipient's email auto-filled with the email address listed in the directory. |
