Introduction
With the ShulCloud Mobile Member App v2.0, congregants will have the ability to access the member directory, see and register for events, and conveniently reference Zmanim.
Congregations have the ability to control who has access to the app and which account types can log in. The colors, branding, and even the app icon can be tailored to your synagogue's preferences.
Before You Begin
A Shul must have completed the form and submitted all necessary items to have access to the Mobile Members App v2.0. Contact the Support Team with questions regarding purchasing the app at questions@shulware.com.
Admin Set Up
Admins have the ability to customize the Member Mobile App within the shul's ShulCloud website. To access the Mobile Member App settings, navigate to Admin > Mobile App Settings.
If in the classic Admin Menu, admins need to navigate to Communications to be access all the new navigation options. Once in Communications, the admin can select Admin > Mobile App Settings.
All four (4) settings areas must be configured in order for the app to populate.
Mobile Member App Settings
Access Control
Determine the account types that have access to the app.

Select from existing site account types (generated in My Lists > Account Types). Note: choose each account type individually, rather than selecting all. |
Branding
Select colors for different areas of the Mobile Member App to match synagogue branding.

2. Primary Color | Select the color of the links and primary buttons within the app. |
3. Top Bar | Select the color of the background and panel titles within the app. |
4. Accent Color | Select the secondary color in the app. |
5. Bottom Bar | Select the background color of the bottom bar within the app. |
6. Color Selector (appears for each color option) | General color selection. |
7. Hex Code | Add shul specific hex code or RGBA codes for an exact branding match. |
8. Color Grid | For less granulated options, select the color grid for another color selection option. |
App Home Screen
Customize the home screen of the Mobile Member App with a header, welcome message, options for date and parsha. Also determine the events and links that will display on the home screen for quick and easy member access.
Note - In order for the home screen to display properly, go to the Features Setting area and ensure both Source Calendars have been selected and a selection has been made regarding showing an image.

2. Show Site Logo | Check box for the site logo (added in Settings) to appear in the app. |
3. Show Site Name | Check box for the site name (added in Settings) to appear in the app. |
4. Welcome Message | Customize a 90 character welcome message. |
5. Date and Parsha Information to Show |
Select check boxes to determine which date and parsha options to show. Options include:

6. Events |
Select if events will be displayed on the home screen. Note - In order for the home screen to display properly, go to the Features Setting area and ensure both Source Calendars have been selected and a selection has been made regarding showing an image. |
7. Happening When (events) |
Choose from a dropdown the distance into the future events will appear:

8. Max Number to Display (events) | Determine how many events to display, from 1 to 10. |
9. Links | Select if links will be displayed on the home screen. |
10. Max Number to Display (links) | Determine how many links to display, from 1 to 10. |
Features
Select the features that will be available in the Mobile Member App. Up to four (4) features can highlighted in the bottom bar of the app for quick access, while the rest reside in the lefthand navigation. Decide which events and calendars will be visible in the app, and select icons to accompany links and determine the order of links.

3. Feature Location | Select where the feature will be displayed in the app. Choose from Left Menu or Bottom Bar. A maximum of four (4) features can be displayed in the bottom bar in addition to the home feature. |
4. Source Calendar |
Select from calendars created in the Shul site to display in the app. Note - In order for the home screen to display properly, go to the Features Setting area and ensure both Source Calendars have been selected and a selection has been made regarding showing an image. |
5. Show Image |
Determine if an event should have an image displayed with it. Choose between:

6. Add Links |
Select to add links to display in the app. Once selected, a pop up will appear to select:
