To activate and view the Fundraising Feature, admins must first create a fundraising goal in the My Lists functional area. These goals can be adjusted and updated throughout a campaign.
Before You Begin
To create a fundraising goal, a user will need the Fundraising Goals admin permission.
Create or Edit a Fundraising Goal
- Navigate to My Lists > Fundraising Goals.
- Select Add New to create a new fundraising goal, or select a fundraising goal to edit from the list.
- Fill out or edit the information for the fundraising goal.
- Select Save Changes.
Fields | Descriptions |
1. Name |
Add the name of the fundraiser. |
2. Amount | Designate an amount for the fundraising goal. |
3. Charge Types |
Select the charge type(s) to track within this fundraising goal. If multiple charge types are selected, admins or solicitors can specify how the donors would like to allocate their donation to each charge type. |
4. Date | Designate the date range for donations that will be displayed in the fundraising dashboard. |
5. Amount | Do not use. Either list as $0 or $0.01. |
6. Include Account Types |
Select the account types to include in the campaign.

7. Admin Tags | Any person with these tags will have permission to administer this campaign (optional). |
Fields | Descriptions |
1. Add Solicitors By Name | Admins can add people with a ShulCloud account as solicitors for the campaign. |
2. Use CRM Notes | Specify the CRM notes categories that will display on the dashboard for the fundraiser. |
3. Include Tags on Dashboard |
Specify the tags that can be used as a filter for accounts within the fundraiser. |
4. Name | Description of any custom field used in the fundraiser. Custom fields cannot be changed once a pledge has been recorded within the fundraiser, and only display within the specific fundraiser - not on a donor's account. |
5. Type |
Designates the type of custom field:

6. Selection Options |
Only displays when the Type is Selection. Separate selection options by typing: |

7. Arrow/X | Delete or rearrange the order for custom fields. |
8. Save Changes | Select to create the fundraising goal. |
9. Make Inactive | Select to make fundraising goal inactive. |
