The Email Marketing Feature integrates with existing Announcements Subscriber Lists as well as uploaded subscriber lists. Public subscribers can be included or excluded when sending communications. Groups must be created in advance to be used within this feature.
ShulCloud’s Email Marketing tool makes it easy to create and send:
- Newsletters and announcements to your community.

Create and save templates for future communications.

Target and segment subscriber lists into Groups for more personalized messaging.
Note: This feature is intended for marketing and communications only. It does not replace system-driven emails such as billing, donations, contributions, or lifecycle messages, which continue to use Creating Emails with the MailBuilder or Legacy Mail: Creating an Email - Rich Text (How To).
- Navigate to Communications > Email Marketing
- On the right side of the dashboard, select Create Email.
Email Section Dashboard
Every email created with the Email Marketing feature is made up of four required sections. All sections must be completed before the email can be sent. Once a section is finished, a green checkmark will appear. For guidance, see the Section Resources for training specific to each part of the email.
