Unsubscribing from a Subscriber List
All emails that are sent from ShulCloud include the option to opt-out/unsubscribe from communications.
When a user receives an email sent through a ShulCloud Subscriber List, they can unsubscribe from that specific list only. For example, unsubscribing from the Events Subscriber List stops those emails, but the user would still receive messages from other lists (e.g., Announcements) unless they unsubscribe from those separately.
If the user selects "Update your preferences" below the Unsubscribe button, they will be directed to login to their ShulCloud account and will see the full list of Subscriber Lists and can determine if there are other lists they would like to manage their preferences for.
When redirected to manage their subscription preferences in their account, a user will see all the available subscriber lists and can check or un-check the box for each list. NOTE: Subscriber Lists that cannot be unsubscribed from include: Billing, Contribution, and Tax Letters.
The first column of checkboxes pertains to Email Subscriptions and the second column pertains to Mail Subscriptions.
Once a user unsubscribes from a private list, the list will no longer appear in their preferences, so if they would like to be re-subscribed, an admin would need to navigate to the person on the account and resubscribe the user. Users can login to their account and resubscribe themselves to any public subscriber list
