This document is for statement template text only. For help with any other template, view this help document.
To adjust your statements, go to Admin Menu - My Lists - Statement Templates. There are a lot of different statement templates listed, but they can be organized and broken down as follows:
- Statement - billing/outstanding statement.
- Statement for Period - all charges and payments in between two specific dates.
- Statement Invoice - an invoice for a specific charge or charges.
- Statement Receipt - a receipt for a specific payment or donation.
- Thank You Letter - formatted similarly to a receipt, but can be adjusted however you'd like.
- Statement Tax Statement - the statement used for your year-end tax letters.
Each Statement is made up of the following components:
- Header/Header First - The top of the page (or first page) of the statement.
- Footer/Footer Last - The bottom of the page (or last page) of the statement.
- Body - The middle part of the statement, which includes the address of the recipient and the transaction information.
- Transaction Body - The code used to generate a block of transactions.
- Transaction Line- The code used to generate a single transaction.
- Cover Letter - Can be used to add a letter as the first page of the statement.
- CSS - The default code used to format the statements and letters.
