ShulCloud Mobile Payments App v1.0 (Feature Overview)

Introduction

ShulCloud Mobile Payments empowers clients in the US to gather and record both online (credit card) and offline (cash, paper check) payments via mobile devices.

  • Payments are seamlessly recorded in ShulCloud.
  • Credit card details can be sourced from the payer's ShulCloud account, Tap to Pay, Stripe Reader M2, or manually entered.
  • 'Bill to Account' is available if needed.
  • Clients can manage manage public payments by creating a new account, allocating to a catch-all account, or generating a 'public payment.'
  • Public payer contact information can be collected and stored for future outreach.
  • Clients can choose to collect a voluntary or mandatory payment processing fee.
  • Clients can allow non-admin ShulCloud users to collect payments at specific events without granting broader permissions.

Audience

The mobile payment app is available to admins and assigned non-admin ShulCloud users. Special: Administer ShulCloud Mobile Payments permissions are required to use this feature.

The Mobile Payments App can be utilized for any event, such as:

  • Hannukah Fundraising Sale
  • Religious School Carnival
  • Art Sale Fundraiser
  • Fundraising Concert
  • Kol Nidrei Appeal

Before You Begin

A ShulCloud Integrated Payments merchant account is required. (Please refer to Gateway and Merchant Application to apply for SIP).

ShulCloud Mobile Payments is available for iOS and Android phones and tablets in the App Store and Google Play.
