In the checkout settings, admins can select the Gateway used for an event. All gateways available in the ShulCloud database will be listed, along with the option None. It's important to ensure that the fee charge type selected aligns with your Gateway's fee policy.
This article will cover the available options: None, Gateway with a Voluntary Donation Fee with dual mode, and Gateway with a Mandatory Surcharge Fee Credit Card mode. Therefore, it is organized into the following three sections:

- Gateway with Voluntary Donation Fee with dual mode
- Gateway with Mandatory Surcharge Fee Credit Card mode
None (Offline Payments)
This section occurs with the Gateway selection None.
Fields | Description |
1. Gateway | None, offline payments are collected on this event. |
2. Payment Methods Accepted | The payment methods accepted on this Gateway setting. |
3. Cash | Participants paying by cash. |
4. Paper Check | Individuals paying by paper check. |
5. Bill to Account | Members paying by billing to their account. |
6. Cancel | Cancel all above selections. |
7. Save | Save all above selections. |
Gateway with Voluntary Donation Fee dual mode
This section occurs with the gateway selection when the gateway is in dual gateway mode.
Fields | Description |
1. Gateway | The gateway chosen for the event. Credit card payments with voluntary donation fee are collected on this event. |
2. Fee | Donation is a voluntary fee collected on the credit card. |
3. Fee Charge Type | The charge type the fee is collected on. Will show all charge types available in ShulCloud Database. It's important to ensure that the fee charge type selected aligns with your Gateway's fee policy. |
4. Credit Card % | Fee percentage charged on credit card |
5. Bank Account % | Fee percentage charged on e-Check/ACH or debit card. Not supported in v1.0. |
6. Payment Methods Accepted | The payment methods accepted on this Gateway setting. |
7. Cash | Participants paying by cash. |
8. Paper Check | Individuals paying by paper check. |
9. Bill to Account | Members paying by billing to their account. |
10. Stripe Reader | Payment collection through Stripe Reader M2. Refer to the following articles for more information. About Your Stripe Reader M2; Payments via Stripe Reader M2. |
11. Tap to Pay | The device you are collecting the payment on is the payment terminal to make a transaction, using near-field communication (NFC) technology. |
12. Manual Entry | Entering payment manually. |
13. Credit Card on Account | Using credit card on the account for payment. |
14. Cancel | Cancel all above selections. |
15. Save | Save all above selections. |
Gateway with Mandatory Surcharge Fee Credit Card only mode
This section occurs with the gateway selection of a gateway with credit card only mode.
Fields | Description |
