Introduction
All ShulCloud sites have an online payment page at yourdomain.org/payment.php
Online payments or donations can be made by:
- Public/Nonmembers
- People not logged into their account
- People logged into their account
- Admins on behalf of people with/without an account
People who have a ShulCloud account and are logged in can make payments to their account balance.
Online Payments for For Account Balance
Fields | Description |
1. Paying as | Account selection field. When a person is logged in, the account name will be listed in this field. |
2. Third Party Payer | Select an account in ShulCloud to indicate the payment should be recorded on a different account (usually used for tax purposes). Only visible for admins. See Third Party Payment for more information. |

4. Paying For | When for account balance is selected, open charges will appear. |
5. Unpaid | Displays the unpaid amount for any open charges. If the payment is not for the full amount, the amount being paid should be entered here. |
6. Check Box | Select the open charges that will be paid in this transaction, or select all with the check box at the top if all open charges will be paid. |
7. Amount | Field will auto sum the open charges selected in the Paying For area. |
8. Pay this amount | Allows for a payment schedule to be set up for recurring payments, if allowed by the synagogue. |
9. Payment Notes | Optional field to provide information about the payment that will appear on a statement. |
12. Continue to Payment | Takes payer to the payment screen to complete the transaction. |
Online Donations with Dedication
Fields | Description |
1. Paying as | Account selection field. If left blank, the payment will be recorded as Public, as noted below the text box. When a person is logged in, the account name will be listed in this field. |
2. Third Party Payer | Select an account in ShulCloud to indicate the payment should be recorded on a different account (usually used for tax purposes). Only visible for admins. See Third Party Payment for more information. |
3. Type | Dropdown to select the charge type for the donation being made. |
4. Amount | Enter the amount of the donation. |
5. Pay this amount | Allows for a payment schedule to be set up for recurring payments, if allowed by the synagogue. |
6. Payment Notes | Optional field to provide information about the payment that will appear on a statement. |
7. Dedicate | Optional section for a dedication to be added to the payment. |
8. Dedication Type | Dropdown to select type of dedication. Dedication types can be set up in My Lists. |
9. Dedication Text Field | Add detail about the dedication. See Template Text information. |
10. Your Name | Indicate who the dedication is from, or request to be anonymous. |
11. Person to Notify | If the honoree of the dedication should be notified, complete the section below. |
12. Continue to Payment | Takes payer to the payment screen to complete the transaction. |
