Our new galleries section allows you to create an album on ShulCloud, and then sync your album to your shul Facebook page.To get started, you must link your site with your shul Facebook page. To do that, go to Admin Menu - Settings, then edit your settings and scroll to Social Network Integration.
For more information about how to get your App ID and App Secret, Facebook has a help document.
Once you have connected your site to Facebook, go to the gallery you want to post to Facebook. In the menu, there's an option "Create Facebook Album."
Once you click that link, the site will automatically post all of the pictures onto your Facebook page. You will see a rotating circle as the site and Facebook make the connection and post the photos.
When the album is live on Facebook, you will then be able to sync the album to make sure the files stay the same. If you add a photo to the album on Facebook, the photo will be transferred over to ShulCloud, and if you add new pictures on ShulCloud, they would be posted on Facebook.
If your members have connected their ShulCloud account to their personal Facebook account, they can leave comments on a picture in ShulCloud that will transfer over to Facebook, and visa versa.
