Use the Memorial Boards module to set up the plaque system in a synagogue - show which plaques are available, taken or reserved, and which accounts own or occupy them.
- Navigate to Lifecycles > Memorial Boards.
- Select Create New Board
Item Description Linked To For an admin-only map of plaque locations, use Event Seating Locations to create a map. Name Name of the Memorial Board (ex: Main Shul - Front) Unit Name Name for batch bill. Pricing Tiers Use to set the price level. Add more levels or remove if necessary.
- Once the board has been created, add the plaque locations to the new location. Select Add Plaques.
- Enter location names or numbers.
- Select Add or press the enter key.
- Select Save when completedonce you are ready to add them.
- Select Edit to adjust the options for each specific location
Item Description Payer Account Auto-populates as typing begins with accounts that match the typed characters. Select the checkbox for Unavailable if the payer is unknown. Reserved for Person Who the plaque is reserved for. Can be reserved for someone on a different account than the payer account. Name of Deceased/Yahrzeit
Name does not auto-populate with a person in ShulCloud. Pricing Tier Select the pricing tier for this particular plaque. - The status of the plaque will change based on which of the fields is entered - Reserved for Person or Name of Deceased/Yahrzeit. Once the changes are saved, plaques can be edited, deleted, or moved.
