ShulCloud makes creating deposits very easy and user friendly. To create a deposit you will want to click on the admin menu and select deposits. You will be prompted with the following screen.
Which Staged Deposit Are You Completing - When a payment is created from the Transaction Add page, there is an option to create a new deposit stage, or to add the payment to an existing stage. This allows you to work on multiple deposits at once. For example, you can set some payments to be staged for deposit to the Sisterhood bank account, and some to the Rabbis Fund account.
- Deposit to: Choose the bank account that these payments will be deposited to.
- Deposit Date: Choose the date that the payments were deposited.
- Deposit Ticket Id: This field is optional. You may choose to use this to add any notes about the deposit.
On the left hand side of each payment there is a check box that allows you to select the payment for deposit. You can select one, none, all or some. At the bottom it will total the amount of money and the number of items listed on that deposit. Once everything looks correct you can then click on Create Deposit. If you selected a staged deposit, the payments that you have staged will be checked off automatically.
On the following screen you will see a preview of all the payments associated to the deposit along with the financial information regarding each payment. Click on Confirm and Save to see the Deposit summary (deposit slip).
