The transaction screen allows you to filter through all of the transactions that are currently in the system. With the use of all the filters available to you, a custom list can be acquired.
You will first want to select what type of transactions you want to view. You can view all of them which will include Charges and Payments or you can select either or.
Enter in the dates and then select what type of dates you are filtering by. You can select Payment dates or Deposit dates. The deposit date will only show anything that has been deposited.
The amount filter allows you to choose from a variety of options. Many people asked for a custom range field so we added it to the list. This allows you to specify an amount between two numbers.
Once you have selected an amount you can then select whether or not the transactions are going to be open or closed. Open items are charges or payments that are not allocated to anything. Closed items mean that a charge and payment has been applied to each other.
The public feature allows you to filter through the system to see only public transactions or transactions that have been allocated to an account in the system.
The Notes section is very useful and helps narrow down your search even more. If notes were added to charges and payments when entering them in the system, any notes that you search for will bring those up in the results. So for example: If you added Membership dues to multiple charges in the system, typing in Membership Dues in the notes field will only bring up those results.
You can then specify whether or not the transaction has been imported or not.
