Payment types work as another searchable filter in the system. When you set up your gateways you can specify what the payment type is going to be. You can create any payment types you want. For example, you can use Visa and Visa(R) - or anything you want.
To create a new payment type, go to My Lists from the Admin menu and then select Payment Types from the drop down.
Click on Add New to see the following screen:
Type in the name of the new payment type you are creating. You can then specify whether or not this payment type is going to be the default for payments coming in.
Then decide if the payment type should be included on the tax statement. If this is not checked off, it will not show.
If for any reason this payment is not of monetary value, make sure to check off this option.
Once you have integrated Quickbooks with ShulCloud you'll be able to link it to a Quickbooks account from the drop down provided.
