Calendars can be created to organize and setup privacy rules based on who can see certain calendars that are created. This may be useful if you have different events that only pertain to certain people at the shul.
To create a new Calendar go to My lists from the Admin Menu located at the top of the site and select Calendars from the drop down provided.
Click Add New located on the top right. You will then see the following screen:
Type in the name of the Calendar you wish to create (Sisterhood, Men's Club, Staff Vacation, etc).
Each Calendar you create gives you the ability to set the visibility by using the Privacy drop down. You can choose from the following:
- Everyone - Allows the calendar to be visible to everyone. Anything that is on the calendar such as rules or events will available for everyone to see.
- Logged In Visitors - This option makes the calendar only available to certain people who are logged into the system. It will then provide another option based on Tags listed in the system. You can specify which people with the selected tag can see the calendar.
- Admins Only - Will only let the calendar be viewed to people who have the Calendar Admin permission enabled on their account.
To help better identify the calendar in use, you can select a color from the color wheel.
