Saving Reports
For ease of use, reports that are used frequently can be saved. Note: These instructions DO NOT apply to Transaction Reports.
To save a report, follow the steps below.
- Navigate to Reports > Reports.
- Select the report to run.
- Complete report filter criteria.
- For best results, use dynamic filtering criteria such as "beginning of this month" and "end of this month" rather than "specific date".
- Run the report.
- Once the report has completed, select "Save As"
- Enter a name for the saved report.
- The report will run again.
- When navigating to Reports > Reports, all saved reports will be visible at the top of the reports page. Saved reports are visible to all admins with permission to view and run reports. ShulCloud recommends adopting a naming convention if different staff members are saving reports based on the same base report.
Email a Report
Saved reports can be emailed.
- Once a report is run, scroll to the bottom of the page to find Email This Report on a Schedule.
- Select +Add
- Complete information about who the report should be emailed to
Field Description 1. Email Address Enter the email address of the person who should receive the report. If the report should be emailed to multiple people, enter a comma without a space between email addresses. 2. Subject Add a subject line to accompany the emailed report. 3. Type Select how the report will be attached to an email. Choose between:
- CSV
- Excel
- Word Mail Merge
4. When Determine the frequency at which the report will be emailed.
- Days of the Week
- Days of the Month
5. Days of the Week/Days of the Month Use the check boxes to determine the day of the week or day of the month to email the report.
If the report should be received weekly, select days of the week. If it should be received once a month, select the day of the month.
6. Time to Send Determine the time the report will be sent. Reports can be sent only on the hour.
7. Save Save email preferences.
8. X Close the pop up without saving changes.
Update Email Preferences
To update email preferences for a saved report:
- Run the saved report
- Scroll to the end of the report
- Select "Edit", "Delete", or "+Add".
- Review the steps above for assistance in making changes.
