Security
- SHWR-21630 – Updated Verification by Email feature emails to use a no-reply address, direct users to the site for help, and use generalized language to support multiple use cases.
- SHWR-18434 – Extended the optional verification-by-email security feature to cover all public form submissions, not just those involving payment. Sites experiencing bot spam or stolen credit card testing can contact Support to have this enabled.
- SHWR-15544 – Implemented security improvements.
Rich Text Editor: Enhanced Link Insertion Tools
Several enhancements have been added to the Insert Link options in the new Rich Text Editor, expanding functionality to match — and improve on — what's available in the legacy editor being retired later this year:
Note: This functionality is currently unavailable in the Forms and Dedication Modules
- Insert Link: Insert a standard hyperlink using built-in editor functionality.
- Insert Document Link: Browse a shul’s ShulCloud file library to easily link to uploaded documents, like PDFs.
- Insert Mailto: Link: Create a link that opens the user’s email client, with optional subject and body pre-filled.
- Insert Anchor Link: Insert a link that jumps to a specific point (anchor) on the page.
- Insert Content Anchor: Mark jump points in content to be used as targets for anchor links.
Notes:
- The “Edit Link” context menu option opens the default link editor. It is not aware of the enhanced features used when creating document or mailto: links.
- Currently, the custom link tools may not function correctly inside pop-up editors (e.g., the Form Field Editor). If editing in a pop-up, use the standard Insert Link instead.
- Anchor tags from the legacy editor will be automatically migrated to
<span>elements for compatibility. Switching between editor types may disrupt anchor behavior and links to them.
BUG FIXES
Forms
- SHWR-856 – Fixed an issue where form options did not follow the site's date format setting.
- SHWR-3355 – Fixed an issue where the form preview did not display the form properly.
- SHWR-3980 – Fixed an issue where the donation dropdown field description was not visible because the amount field appeared too close underneath.
- SHWR-9363 – Fixed an issue where the field description entered for the seating request block on forms was not displayed.
- SHWR-11433 – Fixed an issue where using "Choose Multiple Quantities" with multiple charge types and a form max resulted in an "Unspecified" open $0 charge for each unselected charge type.
- SHWR-12978 – Fixed an issue where the discount code dropdown in form settings displayed a hard-coded $ symbol instead of using the site's currency symbol.
- SHWR-15132 – Fixed an issue in forms where selecting "Bill to Account" during the payment step resulted in the payment being processed using a saved payment method instead.
- SHWR-22491 – Fixed an issue where missing a subject line in the form confirmation email settings caused an error when sending the email, even though the payment was successfully processed.
- SHWR-20949 – To enhance the security of public forms, non-logged in users will no longer see upload file fields in public forms. To upload a file in a form, the user must be and admin or a non-admin logged-in person.
Financials
- SHWR-835 – Fixed an issue where the help link in the autobatch deposit email pointed to an outdated article.
- SHWR-3978 – Fixed an issue where the Account Aging (Outstanding Report) showed an incorrect number of accounts.
- SHWR-4197 – Fixed an issue where users were unable to delete a payment method from an account.
- SHWR-20143 – Fixed an issue where logged-in non-admin users with no balance could still make a donation from the payments page, even when the setting to allow donations was set to NO.
- SHWR-21531 – Fixed an issue where eCheck payments applied to open balances on the online payment page prompted users to accept ACH authorization, but the checkbox could not be selected.
School
- SHWR-21220 – Fixed an issue where fields set to not show on the enrollment form still appeared for admins editing enrollments in the School module.
- SHWR-21300 – Fixed an issue where number fields marked as required in the School module could be left empty when submitting an enrollment.
Website/Member Portal
- SHWR-806 – Fixed an issue where tag restrictions were not properly followed for displaying tiles and dividers in the member portal.
- SHWR-18496 – Fixed an issue where the "Move" function in File Manager did not allow users to move photos.
- SHWR-20192 – Fixed an issue where admin pages incorrectly displayed the advanced page header and site sponsor.
- SHWR-21116 – Fixed an issue where the Help Center link in the ? Help menu was broken.
- SHWR-22030 – Fixed an issue where horizontal scrolling was not available on CRM Notes, Yahrzeits, Transaction Reports, and the Member Directory.
Misc
- SHWR-22110 – Fixed an issue where Global Subscriber Lists were not being included in the Unsubscribed Report.
- SHWR-4217 – Fixed an issue where the "Create New Account" process did not honor the "Fill Join Date" setting.
- SHWR-20447 – Fixed an issue where editing a custom field on the Accounts page threw a console error and prevented changes from being saved.
- SHWR-21126 – Fixed an issue in the Payments App (SMP) where surcharge fees were improperly applied to debit and prepaid cards.
