Error Modifying Payment: The "AppliedToTxnMod payment amount" field has an invalid value "75.00". QuickBooks error message: You cannot pay more than the amount due. (3210)
When adding or modifying payments in QuickBooks, the sync failed because the amount due on the original invoice that is being applied to the payment has less due then expected.
To remedy this issue:
- Click the "View in ShulCloud" link to see a list of what the payment is applied to
- Find the Charge that matches the $ value in the error
- Click on the C# link to view the charge and the payments applied to it
- Go to QuickBooks and look up this Invoice
- Make sure all of the applications (outside of this new payment) are valid
- Correct any improper allocations
- Resync
NOTE: These errors can happen on the Full Sync if you are not using the HOLD method. Any partially applied payments will use an auto-apply feature and need to be verified as the Sync log states. If you are not interested in this, consider the HOLD method which will hold the payment until it is fully applied in ShulCloud before it will hit QuickBooks.
