Fee on the charge type, in addition to the fee on the gateway provides flexibility and control. This option allow shuls and organizations to manage transaction costs, customize payment processes, and adapt charge type gateway fee overrides for specific needs, ultimately enhancing financial efficiency. Your organization will have access to your fees for the gateway under Admin Menu>My Lists>Charge Type.
Before You Begin
Ensure Admin Menu>My Lists>Gateways is set to 'Always use charge type override if set'.
Update Charge Type
1. Return to 'My Lists' dropdown
2. Select 'Charge Types' from the dropdown.
3. Click on a charge type to edit. (example use 'Donation' Charge Type)
4. Scroll down to 'Online Payments' Section
5. Select Gateway Fee Override Options
- Type "0" to remove the gateway fee completely.
- Place a Flat Rate or Percentage on the charge type
- Leave Blank for no override.
6. Save Changes
